THANKSBought this several years ago, use it near daily in air fryer and held up excellent. This one is for the cottage.Exactly what I want except the end of the legs aren't polished and can scratch my wok. I wanted heavy duty, it is, stainless steel, it is, 6", it is. Simply want the part that touches my wok to be smooth and not scratch the wok. Have two others that are different sizes and different brands that are super polished.Does what it does. No surprises. I use it for any pot-in-pot cooking just to prevent any chance of 'burn alarm' from my Instantpot. Haven't tried it for steaming vegetables but the grate is fairly wide so it would only really work with large vegetables like asparagus or an entire crown of broccoli.I LOVE this tall steaming rack for the instant pot. I have used it several times already since I got it a month ago. It is great for pot-in-pot cooking or just to place a pot or something up higher above the water. I have also used it to provide a flat surface above whatever I'm cooking below. For example, below I cook meat and veggies, and then I use the rack and another pot to cook rice above. The rack itself has a diameter that is quite smaller than my DUO80 but it's a good size nevertheless, and would probably fit in even a 5-qt. The wire part is nice and sturdy. I store it upside-down inside my 7" rice/cake pot.I gave it 4 stars only because the shipping was a mess. I ordered on a Thursday for Saturday delivery, and on Saturday, I got a message that the delivery was delayed. Later in the day, I got another message saying the package was being returned to the sender and I would receive a refund. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the rack! So I ordered another right away on Saturday for Monday delivery. This time it came, but the stupid shipper had put it in a manilla bubble wrap bag and one of the wires on the base had poked through the bag. So 0/5 stars for the shipper, 6/5 stars for the product itself.I have recommended this to many others in the IP community because it has been so helpful! I would put this on the "must have" list for the IP.The steam rack was a medium as far as being a heavy duty item. It holds up well to being used a lot. As all kitchen equipment, you need to use with care. I really love the ability of cooking items under the rack as well as on the rack.I’ve used this item twice so far. Pressure cooked chicken and potatoes at the same time. Sturdy and tall enough to cook meat below and veggies on the top in a small pan, which I ordered separately.This review is for the shortest rack - and, I bought it specifically for use in a 6 qt Instant Pot. The rack is very sturdy, well made, and a perfect height for placing my 7" X 4" Fat Daddios cake pan on - which I use for making meat loaf in my Instant Pot. Also, the stand is a perfect height for using other containers holding meals to be steamed/pressure cooked in the Instant Pot. I also bought the tallest rack and use it when I desire to stack foods in the Instant Pot - veggies on the bottom of the inner pot with the water, then the rack, then using a shorter cake pan on top of the rack holding whatever else I'm cooking. I looked at a lot of different steam racks sold on Amazon and these appeared to be the sturdiest. I'm happy with the weight and workmanship of these racks.
