Description

This steamer is made to prepare perfectly steamed Chinese or oriental dumplings "Manti", but can also be used to cook every possible steamed dish imaginable such as fish, vegetables, dim-sum. ravioli, Russian pelmeni or pierogies. The steamer is 2 separate pots of 6" and 10" high. Water for making steam is poured into the 6" bottom pot, while food is placed into the 5-tiered upper 10" pot which is bottomless (can use from 1 to 5 inserts at a time). The smaller pot can also be used as a simple casserole with the included tempered glass cover.

This is a great stainless steel steamer! I used this for a dumpling dinner party, so I could steam alot of dumplings at one time! Worked great!Nothing bad to say about this. You can even just use the bottom pot with the glass lid for other cooking when not using for steaming. The multi-level stainless steel steamer inserts can be used for any type of steaming, vegies, fish, dumplings, etc. I am buying a second one as a gift to my Tibetan friend whom makes Momos (Tibetan dumplings) all the time for large groups of people.
